The GENI in US

Alex practicing to be a genius at the FV Library park.

Elizabeth Gilbert on TED.com (click to see video)
I just found out that TED.com recently moved offices to Long Beach. For those of you who do not know TED, this is the organization responsible for providing a forum for Al Gore's presenation on "An Inconvenient Truth". TED recently had their conference Feb 7 last week. Their lastest video release is Elizabeth Gilbert (Authour of "Eat, Pray, Love" - I have yet to read it) talking about geniuses. It's about the creative spark and the motivation to make something out of nothing. I hope that after seeing the video you will be inspired to find the genius within yourself.

"Keep showing up...", what an awesome speech she gave. I saw her on Oprah a few years back when her book Eat, Pray, Love came out. Actually I bought the book for Jeanne's birthday as her and Mike were just seperated. Was hoping it would bring positiveness back into her life, didn't work...but she probably never read the book. Wow I never knew about the Romans thinking that, love the explanation. There are days when I feel I definitely show up, but needing some help from my GENI and she's a no show. :)
