Nix Nature Center

We only drive through Laguna Canyon once or twice a year, so when we last drove through, we saw a sign that said "Nix Nature Center" which naturally caught our eye. So today we decided to check it out.

Built in 2006, the James and Rosemary Nix Nature Center is surrounded by hiking trails and the beautiful hills of the canyon. The actual center is a cool, modern building with glass walls that overlook the nature preserve.

The center is free and open daily. Parking is $3.
